Attendance fulfils the “Participation” requirement for entry into the EV State Interschool Championships held in the Term 1 school holidays. The classes run under current Interschool Rules and any further rules applicable to Interschool. No stallions or colts permitted. Entrants must be currently enrolled at and attending school. School uniform must be worn. Double bridles are permitted Insurance: All entrants must be insured through the Show society or current EA Members PCV or HRCAV The organisers reserve the right to alter or amend the schedule for this event. Entry fee gains admittance to all possible classes for the rider/mount combination. Riders must choose either Show or Show Hunter classes. The same category must be used all day

There shall be no refunds after closing date unless notification of scratching is received prior to the ride time and a valid vet or doctors’ medical certificate is provided within 7 days of notification of scratching by uploading to the RingHQ platform. Third party indemnity where participant is under 18 years of age I _________________, being the parent or guardian of the Day Participant, hereby acknowledge: a) I have read the whole of this document and understand it; b) I consent to the Day Participant participating in the Activity; c) I am aware of the risks, dangers and obligations set out above; d) I acknowledge that the Day Participant is bound by and subject to the rules, regulations, guidelines, policies and codes of conduct of PCA. In consideration of the Day Participant being accepted as a participant in the Activity I hereby indemnify and release the Organiser/s and the Associate/s in the same manner and to the same effect as if I was the Day Participant and agree to personally accept all terms and conditions and obligations set out in this declaration. AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF ONE PARENT OR GUARDIAN IS AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF ALL PARENTS AND/OR GUARDIANS OF THE ENTRANT.

Terms & conditions

Entry is conditional upon acceptance of these conditions. 1. All Exhibits must Pre Entered. 2. Pre entry is $ 5.00 per class. Only pre entered horses and riders can purchase additional tickets on the day @ $10 per class. If you have not pre entered, you will not be able to enter on the day or get a late entry. Open Riders -- All open riders, except PCV current members MUST sign and submit a Public Liability Waiver Declaration form with entry; and if a current PCV, EA or HRCAV card cannot be presented the rider must pay an additional $20. -- The prescribed Day Attendance Fee is due UNLESS you can prove personal Liability Cover of at least $20,000,000. Proof must be shown on the day of the show. -- Riders without adequate Insurance Cover must pay the prescribed fee for Liability Only cover for the duration of the event. (Not personal Medical) and complete the Participant Waiver. 3. PCV Insurance Policy specifically states anyone not following PCV Rules may be left uninsured. 3. No refunds on unused tickets. 4. Entering this competition constitutes acknowledgement that PCV rules apply and acceptance of these rules. 5. The organising committee reserves the right to cancel any classes or competition; divide any class; alter times; refuse any entry with or without stating the reason. 6. All riders must be wearing compliant helmets. Spot checks to ensure compliance may occur 7. Queries, protests and horse abuse is dealt with as per the PCV Handbook of By – Laws. 8. Dogs are prohibited without exception 9. No stallions, colts or rig. 10. PCV NO Smoking and NO Alcohol policies apply. 11. PCV Lunging Policy applies, Lunging is allowed in fenced area in front of the clubrooms only. 12. Judge’s decision will be FINAL 13. The cross-country course is out of bounds at all times on the day of the show. 14. Neither the organising committee of this competition nor the PCAV accepts any responsibility whatsoever for any accidents, damage, injury or illness to horses, riders, ground spectators or any other person or property 15. Open Competitors are only eligible to win ONE CHAMPION Ridden Open/Hunter 16. Competitors can only compete in either the SHOW HUNTER OR the OPEN LED and RIDDEN Classes. 17. FIRST SEASON – not to been shown under saddle before the 1st of January 2026. To be ridden in an ordinary snaffle. 18. Topsy & Junior Ring – riders competing in these rings may also compete in the open leading rein & tiny tot rider class only. Plaiting Optional 19. PONY CLUB - PCV membership cards must be inspected at the office before riding, on the day of the competition/activity on penalty of elimination. 20. Gear Check: Required for all riders before competing as per the current PCA Gear Rules. The responsibility to ride in the correct competition gear remains with the competitor. If any judge or official discovers a competitor riding with incorrect competition gear, elimination may occur. Snaffle bits only in Pony Club Ring. 21. The Interschools Ring will be conducted in accordance with the VEIS Rules. All horses must be plaited and wear the designated school saddle pad. Riders must wear the approved school equestrian uniform.
