Welcome to our little patch of paradise. We’re excited to share it with you but there are some important points to consider: ð We live here. Please be respectful of our home. Keep noise to a minimum and tidy up after yourself. ð This is a breeding stud and therefore we have young horses on the property with developing immune systems. We ask that you do not bring any horse onto the property who is exhibiting any signs of being unwell, even if minor. ð We know our horses are cute, they know it too. But please do not enter their paddocks or feed them any treats or food from off the property without one of us present. o If you do wish to pat the very young foals, you will be required to wash your hands prior to handling them. Before riding: ð You must have read and signed a Recreational Activity Risk Warning, Acknowledgement, Waiver and Release. Without one of these signed we reserve the right to refuse you to ride on our property. ð You must show us proof of your personal liability insurance policy or membership of EA, HRVAC or PC. Whilst riding: ð You must wear an approved helmet and footwear. We also recommend you wear other protective riding equipment relevant to the activity you are undertaking. After riding: ð Place any equipment used back into its storage location. ð Pickup all horse poo and place it into the provided manure carts. ð Ensure any taps turned on for washing down etc are turned off. Facilities: ð You are welcome to ride in our grassed riding area with obstacles, our dressage arena, or the fitness track leading out from the riding area towards the bridge. ð We have a range of working equitation obstacles, jumps, cones etc that you’re welcome to use. Please put them away afterwards and report any damage. ð There is a toilet within the courtyard of the house, to your left as you enter the courtyard. There are handwashing facilities in the laundry beside it. ð There are basic facilities in the barn for food, feel free to use them. There is a fridge and microwave as well as surface cleaners and cloths to clean tables before and after you use them. Please take all rubbish with you so it doesn’t attract rodents. You will need to supply your own utensils etc. We keep the tables covered, please cover them back up afterwards. ð There is plenty of space for manoeuvring and parking floats near the arena, barn and ‘tennis court’. Please refrain from parking near the house or by the machinery sheds. Our address is 2-54 Old Melbourne Road, Little River. Some GPS may tell you to turn down Gleeson’s Road – don’t. Stay on Old Melbourne Road. Our driveway is beside a bus stop opposite Rothwells’ Road. Strictly NO SMOKING, NO VAPING, NO DOGS.
